Calcasieu River Channel Subline Removal and Safety Zone

Mariners are advised that from 9:00am to 1:00pm on 08 April 2026, the Coast Guard will establish a temporary
safety zone on the Calcasieu River Channel between points 30° 13′ 08.58″N, 093° 15′ 30.54″W and 30° 13′
14.39″N, 093° 15′ 22.65″W to facilitate dredge subline removal by Encore Dredging Partners.

All vessels transiting the area are requested to use their slowest safe speed and to make passing arrangements
with the Dredge NIMITZ.

Dredge NIMITZ will be monitoring VHF channel 78, 16 and can be contacted at 713-913-7207. Any questions
