1405 Correction: Due to floating pipelines and staged equipment, Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston DIRECTS no vessel movements between the DREDGE CONSTELLATION and the Texas City Dike.
At 1130 (local) December 31st, 2025, the emergency closure of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway for the removal of damaged submerged dredge pipeline between The Houston Ship Channel and The Texas City Channel is complete.
The Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at Mile marker 351 is reopened to all traffic.
Floating and submerged dredge equipment is still in place in the Flats near the end of the Texas City Dike. Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston DIRECTS no vessel movements between the DREDGE CONSTELLATION and the Texas City Dike.
