Due to a faulty dredge spoil pipe, at 0800 (local) on 29 July 24, Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston has approved an emergency channel closure and directs no vessel movements from Galveston Pier 10 to Galveston Pier 35 from 0800-1200.
