Galveston Pier 32 remains closed to all vessel traffic.
Vessel Traffic Service Houston Galveston DIRECTS minimum safe speed and no meeting or overtaking within 0.5 nm of Galveston Piers 28-32 to prevent wake and surge from affecting oil spill cleanup and crews working in the area. No vessels may approach within 200-ft radius of Galveston Piers 28 and 32.
Boom remains along the dock from Galveston Piers 28-34. Mariners should consult with the harbor master and Galveston Texas City Pilots Association for maneuvering and docking.
