Galveston:Closure of the Galveston Bay Entrance Channel and Galveston Channel

Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston Directs No Meeting or Over-Taking of the Coast Guard Cutter EAGLE with an 18 vessel regatta during their transit from Bolivar Roads Anchorage ‘C’ to Galveston Channel Pier 21 on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 0900 to 1000 (local).
The Closure includes the channel from Galveston Bay Entrance Channel Lighted Buoys 16 and 18 as well as the entrance to Galveston Channel up to and including Pier 21. Mariners should note that Law Enforcement vessels will accompany the regatta to ensure compliance with the closure.
