Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston directs no vessel movements in Carpenter’s Bayou at Powell Industries on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 0800-1200 (local) due to roll on/roll off operations. Vessels will not be allowed to stop or push in along the Houston Ship channel during the closure.
The entrance to Carpenter’s Bayou is along the Houston Ship Channel across from Houston Ship Channel Light 131A. Powell Industries is approximately .75nm inside Carpenters Bayou.
