1330 (local) 08APR26 – Vessel Traffic Service Houston Galveston Directs no vessel movements in Carpenter’s Bayou at Powell Industries on Thursday, 09APR26 from 1300-1700 (local) due to Roll On Operations.

Carpenters Bayou is located above the Old River across from Houston Ship Channel Lights 131A.  Powell Industries is located approximately .65 nautical mile inside Carpenter’s Bayou.

Vessels will not be allowed to stop or push in along the Houston Ship Channel during the closure.
