Vessel Traffic Service Houston/Galveston DIRECTS NO VESSEL MOVEMENTS IN CARPENTERS BAYOU AT POWELL INDUSTRIES on Monday, February 5th, 2024, from 1200-1600 hours (LOCAL) due to Roll on/Roll off operations. Vessels will not be allowed to push in along the Houston Ship Channel during the closure.
The entrance to Carpenters Bayou is approximately .25 nautical miles across from Houston Ship Channel Light 131A. Powell Industries is approximately .75 nautical miles inside Carpenters Bayou.
