Houston-Galveston: authorized Cargo and transfer operations to resume in the upper Houston Ship Channel, but not for south of Bayport

Effective 0900 today, 10 September 2024

The Captain of the Port Houston-Galveston has authorized Cargo and Transfer operations to resume in the upper Houston Ship Channel to include Bayport Channel facilities and points northward.

Cargo and Transfer operations for points south in the lower Houston Ship Channel, Texas City, and Galveston Harbor remain secured.

This notice serves as modification to MSIB 30-24. Port Condition Yankee remains in effect.
