Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) Houston/Galveston has extended the VTS area to the I-10 Bridge in the San Jacinto River due to the Sheldon Road Gauge surpassing 8 feet and have entered the ACTION phase. The Captain of the Port is still implementing Port Condition Zulu and all vessels are prohibited from transiting within the safety zone without the approval of the COTP or Vessel Traffic Service Houston/Galveston.
