At 1158 (local) VTS directs no meeting or overtaking in vicinity of Channel Shipyard due to a partially submerged vessel along Channel Shipyard pier. Salvage operations are expected which may result in a closure of the San Jacinto River in vicinity of Channel Shipyard. VTS will provide updates as the situation develops.
