Vessel Traffic Service Houston/Galveston DIRECTS no vessel movements in the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway between The Houston Ship Channel and The Texas City Channel due to unscheduled dredge pipeline removal operations from 0900 to 1300 (local), Today, December 31st.
The pipeline to be removed is crossing the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at approximately Mile Marker 351.
Vessels already transiting towards this area are advised to make alternate arrangements.
Vessels will not be allowed to stop or push in along the channel during the closure.
