The Port of Great Baton Rouge is lifting its draft restriction from forty-three feet (43’) and returning to normal operating draft of 45’ for above Mile 228 Above Head of Passes beginning at 1000 hours, December 9, 2022. Based on projected rising river stages at the Baton Rouge gauge this normal operating draft of 45’ will remain in effect unless falling/low river stage warrants a reevaluation and adjustment.
Sincerely,
“Capt Ron”
