LA – MISSISSIPPI RIVER – Temporary Safety Zone -Drone Lightshow at MM 97 to MM 97.1 RDB
The U.S. Coast Guard will enforce a temporary safety zone from 7:30 p.m through 9:45 p.m. on June 14, 2026 and will cover all navigable waters within a 664 ft radius of the drone show operating area at approximate position 29°55’11.9″N, 90°03’54.7″W, on the Right Descending Bank (RDB) between Mile Marker (MM) 97 – MM 97.1 AHP on the LMR. All vessels or persons are prohibited for entering the temporary safety zone without permission from VTS or a designated representative. VTS can be contacted on channels 1005, 12, 67, or (504) 365-2514.
