Further information….
The mat sinking unit was originally scheduled to be 400’ off the bank which would allow one-way traffic in both directions to pass. However, at its present location of 800’, NOBRA has determined that it is unsafe for Southbound traffic to pass.
Note, at night the mat sinking unit is scheduled to fold in at the bank and one-way traffic, both directions, will resume.
